The year is 2052 in the City of Washington DC, and everyone is talking about a new fashion trend that will emerge soon. The fad: long dresses with pocket skirts. A lot of designers have jumped on this bandwagon to create their own fashionable styles of gowns and skirts that make women look like they’ve been born to do “long dresses.” But for those who haven’t (and aren’t thinking of getting married), there are just too many options to choose from. Whether you have long gowns or heels for your wedding day, I got some great ideas on how to make sure that you have choices that match your style.
A classic example of when this type of skirt came out was Marilyn Monroe’s iconic pleated dress, which has now become a symbol of elegance and purity. From today on, many more women will be wearing pleated skirts around their wardrobes, so if you want you can wear these. If you find yourself wearing longer dresses with a shorter collar, make sure you try some unique pieces that will add height, while still maintaining a perfectly styled outfit. It's important to find just one piece that speaks to all your interests and body types, though, because it doesn't matter what color, shape, or size you choose as long as you can get it paired well with an amazing pair of shoes. There are lots of different ways to go about choosing colors; don't overdo it and end up looking too much like the same thing. Choose two similar shades, then create a patterned design around them, or even use patterns that were created earlier, then change them up later.
In my opinion, long skirts with pockets are the most comfortable. Here’s how you could get started. Try some cute, easy pieces around your neck or around your neckline, such as tassels or pins. When you think that you could go with full sleeves, just wear them with very short skirts. You should also consider adding pockets to both your jackets and pants if they sit straight up. This way, you have multiple combinations to play with in your wardrobe. Some examples of where your purse could go include your belt, shirt, or another item, such as a purse. Just remember to keep the pockets away from places where they would come into contact with clothing. Otherwise, your purse probably won’t fit properly in your shoe so it needs to stay close to your belt. It’s just nice to see other people experiment with their clothes, because it makes them feel better about themselves. They may not be quite exactly right for them, but at least they may know that they aren’t the only ones who love to go out to eat.
It seems like every woman seems to be doing it anyway, but why didn’t they start wearing skirts when they were younger? Well, back then it was difficult to find suits in men’s dresses, but you had to go shopping anyway, you couldn’t really afford to buy them in the time that we have now, so now it’s easier to go to college and spend hours at retail stores, so having a beautiful, silky fabric to work with may have seemed a good idea back then. When you did have to wear suits, they weren’t necessarily fitted to perfection, so they had to be designed before they were sewn, which may seem archaic nowadays. Nowadays, you can go without heels, unless you’re going to wear a high heel and/or a heelshine. However, you still do need heels for special occasions, and if you’re going to go to the gym, then you might need to wear a stiletto or maybe a higher heelshine to make sure that the cuffs and straps don’t come off.
Boots have always been considered one of the most masculine items in society, but lately, you can wear boots with any type of clothing, except jeans. Today, the choice for trainers is vast, so for anyone who wants to give themselves a boost of confidence, they should choose a pair of athletic wear. Many different brands sell styles just for runners, plus many run-friendly footwear options. Not only do they keep you looking stylish, but they’re also very lightweight, so you don’t have to worry about them falling off of your feet.
Shoes made for a reason are becoming more common, but you shouldn’t forget that they’re also incredibly versatile. Many people don’t like to wear heels until they’re older, or that they no longer need to go outside, but there are tons of reasons to go with a traditional pair. For instance, if you have a flat heel, then you can wear it with a leather jacket and jeans at once. On the flipside, if you prefer a pointed heel, then you can stick with that, or you can wear it with a blazer and even a black dress. If you find it best that you go with the standard style, you can also add small detailing in your shoes, like studs or spikes. And don’t forget the ankle. This is a huge part of what makes sneakers special, and they are so easy to slip on. So while walking, keep wearing a black shoe and a pair of white socks and you’re instantly giving yourself added layers of warmth.
I personally think heels are extremely underrated, especially when you think of their benefits and the fact that they are so easy to slip on and off. However, I believe that if you pick your own pair, you’ll find that there’s plenty of pairs that you can find that are perfect for you. In particular, I think that tall heels have one thing that is often overlooked. That is that they’re the perfect length for the average woman. If you’re really looking to pick a pair, you might want to consider these things:
• Tall shoes have something called the midfoot curve, and the curve affects the rest of your foot so they can provide the support you need when walking.
• Tall shoes also tend to be a bit heavier than a good pair of heels, so if you tend to walk for miles and miles each week, you probably wouldn’t want to wear heels.
• Tall shoes can cause toe problems and can also lead to flat feet so to prevent this situation, you want to practice walking on the toes.
• These shoes have something called a lateral sole curve which can affect your ability to maintain your balance.
